Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.5 Arrives August 13 with New Characters and Events

Honkai: Star Rail is gearing up for a major update, as Version 3.5 is officially set to release on August 13, 2025. This upcoming patch continues the Amphoreus storyline that has been unfolding since Version 3.0, delivering fresh content, new characters, and several engaging events that will keep players busy in the coming weeks.

For those unfamiliar, Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play turn-based RPG where players join the Astral Express, a crew that travels across the universe helping planets facing catastrophic events. As a gacha-based game, Star Rail frequently introduces new characters, gameplay features, and modes to keep its content cycle fresh and exciting. With the recent announcement of Anomaly Arbitration, a challenging endgame mode requiring three separate teams, it’s clear that HoYoverse is committed to keeping the experience evolving.

What’s New in Honkai: Star Rail 3.5?

• Cerydra brings a supportive playstyle, harnessing Wind damage on the Path of Harmony. She enhances teammates by stacking a buff that enables double-use of their Attack or Skill, making her an excellent addition to various team compositions.

Returning banner characters Kafka and Silverwolf will also be featured, both of whom have recently received buffs to keep them competitive in the evolving meta. This provides players a chance to either summon them for the first time or strengthen their existing roster.
