The spooky season has officially arrived in Palworld, as developer Pocketpair rolls out the highly anticipated Halloween 2025 update across all platforms. This latest patch, version 0.6.8, introduces a new Halloween-themed mission that rewards players with Zoe’s festive costume and a Depresso armor set, along with several quality-of-life improvements that enhance the multiplayer experience.
The update comes during a particularly busy month for Palworld and its creators. Earlier in October, Pocketpair confirmed that more details about the upcoming mobile version of Palworld will be unveiled at G-Star 2025, set to take place from November 13 to 16 in Busan, South Korea. The announcement has fueled excitement among fans eager to see how the popular open-world survival game will translate to mobile devices.

Palworld’s Halloween Update: New Missions and Rewards
Following a brief teaser earlier this month, the Halloween 2025 event is now live in Palworld, offering players a variety of limited-time content and special items. Chief among these is the Depresso armor set, which can be crafted after speaking to a new NPC called the Wannabe Depresso Islander. Players can find this quirky character in a small shack near the Lake Center fast travel point.
To craft the armor, players must gather 20 High-Quality Cloth and 100 Venom Glands. The crafting process is quite resource-intensive, requiring roughly 200 Wool to make all the necessary cloth. Wool can be obtained from sheep-like Pals such as Lamball, while Venom Glands can be purchased from traders or looted from wild Pals found across the islands.
The event also adds a new mission centered around Zoe, the Tower Boss of Windswept Hills. After defeating her, players can visit her at the Desolate Church to unlock a blueprint for Zoe’s Halloween costume, which requires five Cloth and five Leather pieces to craft. Once completed, the outfit can be equipped through the Cattiva Statue at any player-controlled base.
In addition, update 0.6.8 introduces a quest titled “Zoe’s Sphere,” challenging players to defeat or capture 30 Free Pal Alliance members scattered throughout the world. Completing this mission unlocks additional lore and rewards tied to Zoe and her companion, Grizzbolt.
Multiplayer and Gameplay Improvements
Beyond the Halloween content, Pocketpair has also implemented a small but welcome improvement to the multiplayer experience. Players will now receive a chat notification whenever someone joins or leaves a server, making it easier to coordinate in cooperative sessions.
The studio has also reiterated that Palworld remains on track to leave Early Access in 2026, when version 1.0 is expected to launch. Until then, Pocketpair plans to continue releasing smaller updates, performance tweaks, and seasonal events to keep the community engaged.
The Halloween patch reflects Pocketpair’s ongoing effort to balance new content with stability improvements while celebrating seasonal events in creative ways. With Palworld’s ever-growing player base and a mobile version on the horizon, the future of this creature-collecting survival game looks brighter — and spookier — than ever.
