Epic Games is closing out its massive Fortnitemares 2025 event with one last crossover — and it’s a big one. The legendary Alien franchise is officially joining Fortnite once again, introducing a new Xenomorph skin and themed cosmetics inspired by the upcoming Alien: Earth TV series.

This marks another milestone in Fortnite’s long history of Halloween collaborations. Over the years, Fortnitemares has become one of the most anticipated events of the year, known for blending pop culture and horror into the game’s chaotic, ever-evolving universe. From Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees to Scream’s Ghostface and Scooby-Doo’s Mystery Inc., the 2025 edition has been particularly packed with iconic crossovers — and now, the Xenomorph is here to finish it off with a sinister flourish.

💀 The Alien Crossover Lands in Fortnite’s Halloween Finale

Epic Games officially announced the Fortnite x Alien collaboration on October 30, confirming that a new Xenomorph skin based on FX’s Alien: Earth will be available in the item shop through November 6, 2025.

The bundle includes:

  • 🦴 Alien: Earth Xenomorph Outfit – a new, more biomechanical version of the classic creature.

  • 🔪 Xenotail Slasher Pickaxe – a tail-blade hybrid weapon inspired by the Xenomorph’s design.

  • 🧫 Facehugger Sample Back Bling – featuring a contained specimen of the infamous parasite.

  • 💃 Llamamorphs Emote – a creepy dance inspired by the Xenomorph’s movements.

Players can grab the full bundle for 2,000 V-Bucks or purchase the individual cosmetics separately.

According to Epic, this version of the Xenomorph takes visual inspiration from Alien: Earth, FX’s upcoming series that reimagines the horror classic for a new generation. The crossover is both a nod to the franchise’s cinematic legacy and a smart piece of cross-promotion ahead of the show’s debut in 2026.

👾 Not Fortnite’s First Encounter with the Xenomorph

This isn’t the first time Fortnite has collided with Ridley Scott’s terrifying universe. Back in 2021, players were able to purchase the Ellen Ripley and Xenomorph skins during Chapter 2, complete with themed pickaxes, back bling, and even an Alien-inspired emote featuring a chestburster animation.

However, this new crossover takes things further — visually and tonally. The Alien: Earth Xenomorph skin boasts a sleeker, darker redesign with more lifelike textures and animations, fitting the modern direction of Fortnite’s latest engine upgrades.

The event also hints at a broader partnership between Fortnite and major film franchises. In recent months, Epic Games has leaned harder into cinematic collaborations, from Marvel and Star Wars to horror icons like Chucky and The Simpsons, blurring the line between interactive entertainment and movie marketing.

🎃 A Fortnitemares to Remember

The 2025 edition of Fortnitemares has been one of Fortnite’s most ambitious events to date. Over the past few weeks, the game has introduced more than 20 new skins, multiple limited-time game modes, and spooky map changes, transforming familiar locations into haunted battlefields filled with seasonal challenges.

While the Xenomorph collaboration serves as the grand finale, Epic has already teased what’s next. Once Fortnitemares concludes, Fortnite will launch a mini-season crossover with The Simpsons in early November, introducing Springfield-themed areas and new characters.

Epic also confirmed that the long-awaited Sidekick system is finally coming soon, allowing players to bring animal companions into matches as part of customizable loadouts — a feature fans have been requesting for years.

With so many updates in motion, it’s clear that Fortnite’s momentum is far from slowing down. Between Alien, The Simpsons, and whatever surprises Epic has lined up next, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the game’s most content-packed years yet.
