Team Jade, the studio behind Delta Force, has officially revealed its next big project: Project Spectrum, a psychological horror PvEvP shooter that challenges players to face not only human opponents but also terrifying creatures born from nightmares. The game was announced with a chilling trailer during Gamescom Opening Night Live, offering an early glimpse at its unsettling mix of tactical combat and supernatural threats.

Coming fresh off the recent console launch and crossplay update for Delta Force, Team Jade isn’t slowing down. Project Spectrum introduces a unique twist to the tactical shooter formula by blending traditional squad-based firefights with battles against horrific monsters—and even a player’s own sanity. Those who succumb to madness risk transforming into monsters themselves, turning the tables in unexpected ways.

Project Spectrum’s Disturbing Gameplay

The reveal trailer showcased squads armed with familiar weapons like rifles, shotguns, and Molotovs, engaging in both PvP gunfights and desperate battles against grotesque creatures. Locations appear to shift and evolve, ensuring encounters stay unpredictable. One of the most intriguing elements comes when players take control of the very monsters they’re fighting—switching to a third-person perspective as they command towering abominations against other survivors.

While the gunplay draws from Team Jade’s proven expertise in Delta Force, the layered psychological horror and dynamic player roles promise a distinctive experience. Project Spectrum looks set to carve out its place in the competitive horror shooter space, blending tension, strategy, and fear in ways few titles have attempted before.
