After months of speculation, Warhorse Studios has officially confirmed the release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s long-awaited third and final DLC, Mysteria Ecclesiae. Revealed through a cinematic announcement trailer and a post on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, the expansion is scheduled to arrive on November 11, 2025, marking the final chapter in Henry’s sprawling medieval saga.

Fans have been eager to learn when the sequel’s story would reach its conclusion, especially after the positive reception to the previous expansions, Brushes with Death and Legacy of the Forge. Both DLCs expanded the base game’s world with new quests, historically detailed settings, and narrative twists. Now, Mysteria Ecclesiae promises to wrap up Henry’s journey with his most emotional and mysterious case yet — one that could test not only his skills but his morality.

Mysteria Ecclesiae: Henry’s Final Investigation

According to the official description, Mysteria Ecclesiae transports players to the Sedletz Monastery, a newly added, historically accurate location in Bohemia. The story begins as a mysterious plague spreads among the monks, and Henry is tasked with uncovering the cause before the entire order succumbs to the disease. The developers describe the DLC as “Henry’s most haunting investigation yet,” filled with interrogation sequences, deduction puzzles, and moral choices that will shape the outcome of the mystery.

Key features confirmed for the expansion include:

  • A new explorable monastery that remains open after the DLC’s completion.

  • A cinematic main quest focused on solving the outbreak mystery.

  • New weapons, potions, outfits, and books to collect.

  • Expanded knowledge and skill progression for Henry.

  • Multiple branching endings determined by player decisions.

The DLC’s focus on investigation, survival, and resource management suggests a slower, more atmospheric tone compared to the previous expansions. Given the subject matter — disease, faith, and corruption — Mysteria Ecclesiae looks poised to explore darker and more philosophical themes, tying together narrative threads left open since Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s main story.

The End of Henry’s Journey

Warhorse Studios has described Mysteria Ecclesiae as the “final adventure” in the Deliverance saga, confirming that this will be the last piece of story content for the series. Actor Tom McKay, who voices Henry, has already recorded his final lines for the game, signaling the end of the beloved character’s arc that began back in 2018 with the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

While some fans had hoped for additional post-launch content or even a spin-off, the studio appears ready to close this chapter and focus on its next major project. Still, with its mix of historical realism, emotional storytelling, and moral choice, Mysteria Ecclesiae aims to give Henry a fitting send-off — and leave players with one last unforgettable mystery to solve when it launches on November 11, 2025.
