Amazon Prime Video has started building hype for the second season of its Fallout TV series by unveiling a brand-new teaser poster. The image gives fans their first official look at what’s ahead and hints at where the story may be heading when the post-apocalyptic drama returns later this year.
The first season of Fallout turned out to be a surprise hit, winning over both longtime fans of the games and newcomers. Unlike many video game adaptations that struggle to resonate, Fallout joined the ranks of successful projects like Arcane, The Last of Us, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, earning critical praise and multiple award nominations. Naturally, excitement for season 2 has been building ever since the finale.

The newly released poster, shared by The Game Awards, shows Lucy, The Ghoul, Dogmeat, and Maximus walking side by side beneath a battered Welcome to New Vegas sign. Fans will remember that Lucy, The Ghoul, and Dogmeat ended season 1 together, while Maximus’ path diverged. The imagery suggests that the four characters will reunite in the upcoming season, at least for part of the story.
The teaser also confirms a December 2025 release window, but viewers won’t have to wait until then for more news. According to Amazon, additional details will be revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19, where many expect a first-look trailer to drop.
Longtime Fallout players may find the teaser especially nostalgic, as the New Vegas sign mirrors the design from the classic Fallout: New Vegas game. While the series has introduced original storylines and characters, it has consistently remained faithful to the franchise’s lore and world-building. That commitment appears set to continue in season 2 — and with a third season already greenlit, fans can look forward to plenty more wasteland adventures.
