SMG Studio’s upcoming multiplayer title LEGO Party officially has a release date. The game is set to launch on September 30, 2025, making it the first LEGO game to release that year. The announcement was made by LEGO Group, just a few months after the game's initial reveal during Summer Game Fest 2025.
Developed by SMG Studio, known for the Moving Out series and SPING, LEGO Party is a chaotic party game designed for up to four players, featuring 60 themed mini-games inspired by popular LEGO sets like Pirates, Space, and Ninjago. Players will compete in frantic multiplayer matches, collecting Golden Bricks while enjoying both online and local split-screen modes. Character customization is another major feature, offering more than one billion minifigure combinations.
Alongside the release date, pre-orders are now open for all platforms. The game will be available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. However, physical editions are only confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. Pre-orders are currently listed at $44.99 on Amazon, and early buyers will receive five exclusive digital LEGO minifigures, such as Shark Singer and Candy Cheerleader. A 10% discount is also available for pre-orders until launch, though it may not yet be reflected across all retailers.
LEGO Party isn't expected to be the only LEGO game in 2025. LEGO Voyagers, a co-op-focused title, is also targeting a release next year. Meanwhile, TT Games is reportedly working on a new LEGO project planned for 2026, according to a Bloomberg report.
With its competitive price tag, massive customization options, and mini-game mayhem, LEGO Party aims to deliver family-friendly fun for LEGO fans of all ages.
