EA has revealed that The Sims 4 will soon be expanding its library of customization options with two brand-new Creator Kits, scheduled for release on August 21, 2025. These kits will focus on fresh cosmetic styles and long-overdue home décor items, giving players more tools to personalize their Sims and living spaces.

Creator Kits, which launched in late 2024, have become a fan-favorite alternative to larger expansion and stuff packs. Unlike those bigger releases, kits are smaller and more affordable, offering just a handful of themed items or Create-a-Sim assets. Since their debut, more than 40 kits have been released, covering everything from retro décor to teen sleepover essentials.

The upcoming releases include Peacemaker’s Grange Mudroom and Crypticism’s Essential Glam.

  • Grange Mudroom focuses on decorating home entryways with stylish yet functional items. Preview images highlight shelving units, wall-mounted coat racks, rain boots, decorative laundry bins, and even a new interactive bench where Sims can sit down.

  • Essential Glam is geared toward bold and polished makeup styles. Screenshots showcase an array of looks, including glossy lip colors and striking eyeshadows, designed to give Sims a more glamorous appearance.

While EA hasn’t announced official pricing yet, both kits are expected to retail for around $4.99 each, in line with previous Creator Kit releases.

These new kits arrive just weeks after July’s Enchanted by Nature expansion pack, meaning players likely won’t see another large-scale expansion announced anytime soon. However, a recent community survey hinted at possible future updates for the base game, potentially adding multicultural content such as new recipes, clothing, and décor options — further enriching the life-sim experience.
