Just before September draws to a close, solo developer Tyler (TVGS) has rolled out a new update for the breakout hit Schedule 1. While this latest patch doesn’t deliver massive content drops, it introduces a handful of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and a couple of small but noteworthy additions that polish the overall experience.
The September update highlights Supergiant’s commitment to consistent development. Two new features headline the patch: an “exceeded quality” bonus now rewards players for particularly successful deals, and water taps have been added to the warehouse property. Beyond these, the majority of changes are adjustments and optimizations to existing systems.
Among the most notable tweaks, the Hyland Manor property’s employee capacity has increased from 10 to 12, while gate movement speed at both the manor and warehouse has been accelerated. Combat mechanics and police pursuits have been refined, and vision system thresholds have received balancing adjustments. These updates ensure smoother gameplay and a more responsive world for players navigating Schedule 1’s intense scenarios.
Bug fixes form a large portion of the patch, ranging from resolving network-related graffiti traffic issues to correcting ragdoll impact forces, NPC combat inconsistencies, and multiplayer desynchronization problems. Even small details like the machete’s price and misaligned power cables near the overpass have been addressed, reflecting Tyler’s ongoing attention to detail.
Although this update is relatively modest in scale, fans are eagerly awaiting something bigger. Earlier this month, the community voted for the Shrooms update, which will introduce an entirely new substance type to the game—the first since launch. While no firm release date has been announced, the update is tentatively expected between mid-October and late November, promising one of the game’s most exciting expansions yet.
Since its Early Access launch earlier this year, Schedule 1 has been nothing short of a phenomenon. By May, the game had already earned $125 million in revenue, making it one of the most successful indie surprises of 2025. With frequent patches, steady progress toward full release, and the highly anticipated Shrooms update on the way, Schedule 1 is showing no signs of slowing down.
