Marvel Rivals September 2025 Update Brings Summer Special Vol. 2, New Cosmetics, and Key Fixes

The ever-evolving hero shooter Marvel Rivals, developed by NetEase, has officially rolled out its September 2025 update, and it’s packed with new content, bug fixes, and a wave of summer-themed fun. The update doesn’t just fine-tune gameplay—it delivers a second round of the popular Summer Special event, giving fans plenty of reasons to log back in.

This new event, Summer Special Vol. 2, introduces swimsuit-inspired cosmetics for iconic Marvel characters such as Mantis, Human Torch, and The Thing. Players can progress through matches to earn experience points toward a refreshed battle pass. Console players, particularly on PS5, will also benefit from performance optimizations, reducing rare cases of screen tearing and frame drops.
