Diablo 4 May Be Getting a New Paladin Class

A recent leak suggests that Blizzard could be preparing to introduce a Paladin class to Diablo 4, potentially making it the seventh playable class in the game. Since the release of Diablo 4 in 2023, only the Spiritborn class has been added as new content, leaving fans eager for additional options.

The leak comes from Spanish Diablo fansite DiabloNext (reported via Icy Veins), which spotted a file named "2.5.Xpaladin.67961" on Blizzard’s servers. While details remain scarce, the file hints that Blizzard may be testing the Paladin in preparation for future updates. The exact abilities, skill set, or release timeline for the class have not been confirmed, and players should not expect it before Season 10, scheduled to launch on September 23, 2025.

Paladin Could Be Blizzard’s Next Big Addition
The Spiritborn class, introduced in the Vessel of Hatred DLC, quickly became popular for its flexibility and strong melee combat options. The Paladin, long-requested by fans, is expected to offer a blend of melee and ranged abilities, possibly echoing the style of Diablo 3’s Crusader. However, Blizzard has not confirmed whether the class will be part of the upcoming expansion in 2026 or added in future patches.

Currently, Diablo 4 features six classes: Barbarian, Necromancer, Sorcerer, Druid, Rogue, and the Spiritborn. Each class fills a unique role in combat, providing varied gameplay experiences.
