HoYoverse has officially revealed the second half banners for Genshin Impact Version 5.8, confirming the return of some fan-favorite characters alongside fresh Natlan heroes. From August 19 to September 10, 2025, players will have the chance to summon Mualani and Chasca as the featured 5-star characters, joined by a strong 4-star lineup: Bennett, Ororon, and Ifa.
As the Natlan chapter nears its conclusion, these banners are particularly noteworthy. With both Mualani (Hydro Catalyst) and Chasca (Anemo Bow) headlining, the only Natlan 5-star character yet to receive a rerun remains Varesa, who debuted back in Version 5.5. Each of these two new hypercarries offers distinct advantages: Chasca is praised for her versatility across multiple team comps, while Mualani appeals to players who enjoy delivering massive burst damage.
Supporting them are three valuable 4-star units:
-
Bennett (Pyro Sword): Still regarded as one of the best 4-stars in the entire game, thanks to his unmatched utility.
-
Ororon (Electro Bow): Gaining recognition for his synergy in Electro-Charged teams.
-
Ifa (Anemo Catalyst): A niche but useful driver for Electro-Charged comps, recently strengthened with the release of Ineffa.
These will be the final banners before the launch of Version 6.0 and the Nod-Krai region, where new characters such as Lauma, Aino, and Flins are expected to arrive. Early teases suggest Lauma could shake up the meta as a powerful Dendro support, making her one of the most anticipated additions since Emilie in Version 4.8.
Players looking to prepare for both Version 5.8’s reruns and the upcoming 6.0 debut will have plenty of chances to earn Primogems over the next few weeks. While the meta for Nod-Krai teams may take time to settle, Natlan’s characters like Mualani and Chasca already have proven roles — making these upcoming banners a safe bet for fans who enjoy their unique playstyles.
